Strategies for changing mobility behavior
The lecture by Prof. Weyer entitled "Modeling of mobility behavior - contributions of analytical sociology to the design of the mobility turnaround" enables strategies for initiating behavioral changes to be identified based on the data collected as part of the InnaMoRuhr project and these in the form of empirically based review thought experiments.
The sociological model of action choice presented in the lecture tries to uncover the decision-making mechanisms behind the manifest mobility behavior and in this way to explain individual behavior with the help of sociological concepts.
The 15th Science Forum "Next Chapter in Mobility" took place on May 11th in the CityPalais in Duisburg.
